Where is my transfer

The money has left and it is not on the other side yet — that is ordinary: a transfer goes into a queue first and is not confirmed at once. Paste the transaction hash: we show whether it arrived, how many confirmations it has and why it may be hanging. We work out the network ourselves.

Why a transfer hangs

A transaction does not go to the recipient directly — it lands in the network’s shared queue and waits to be taken into a block. They are taken by profit: the higher the fee relative to the rest of the queue, the sooner. Pay yesterday’s rate while today’s queue has grown and you wait longer, sometimes for days.

The transfer cannot get lost in the process. The worst that happens: after a few days the transaction drops out of the nodes’ queue and the coins stay with you, as if nothing had been sent.

What to do

If you do not want to wait, speeding up is done in the wallet: in Bitcoin that is replacing the transaction at a higher fee (RBF) or spending its output with a new high-fee transaction (CPFP); in Ethereum, a repeat with the same nonce and a higher gas fee. We cannot and should not do that: this tool has no access to your keys, and that is the whole point.

[01] $ My transfer has been "unconfirmed" for an hour. Is it lost?
> No. An unconfirmed transaction sits in the network queue waiting to be taken into a block. They are taken by fee size: pay below the current market and you wait longer. It cannot vanish: either it confirms one day, or after a few days it drops out of the queue and the coins simply stay with you.
[02] $ Can a transfer be sped up?
> In Bitcoin, yes, if your wallet can. There are two ways: replace the transaction with the same one at a higher fee (RBF), or spend its output with a new high-fee transaction so that a miner profits from taking both (CPFP). In Ethereum you speed things up by repeating the same transaction with the same nonce and a higher gas fee. All of this is done in the wallet, not here: we have no access to your keys and cannot have any.
[03] $ How many confirmations are enough?
> For everyday amounts in Bitcoin people usually wait for one to three; exchanges more often ask for three or six. In Ethereum and TRON blocks come far more often, so more confirmations are asked for — dozens. The exact number is always set by the receiving side, not by the network.
[04] $ The transaction exists but the recipient says there is no money
> Compare the address in the transaction with the one they gave you — character by character, not by the first and last few. The second common case: the transfer went in a different network. USDT on TRON and USDT on Ethereum are different things, and their recipient addresses differ. You can check an address with our wallet checker.
[05] $ Can you see which transactions I look up?
> No. The request goes from your browser straight to a network explorer — mempool.space, Blockscout or Tronscan. It does not pass through our servers, and we know neither the hashes nor the results.
