Which protocol to use depends on your network. VLESS runs over TCP and is available on every server. WireGuard, AmneziaWG and Hysteria 2 need UDP, so if your network blocks UDP, stick with VLESS. Our UDP block test checks this in a few seconds.
In the 404 VPN apps for Android and Linux, Kill Switch blocks traffic if the tunnel drops. In third-party clients such as Happ or Hiddify, Kill Switch and DNS leak protection are set in that app.
